Biography
Jasmine Temple, MA, is a doctoral student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She obtained her Masters in Psychological Sciences at James Madison University, and is currently seeking her doctoral degree in Health Psychology, with a concentration in Community Psychology. Her goals are to contribute to the improvement of sexual health and violence outcomes among marginalized groups through community engagement, research, program development, and program evaluation.
She first joined Brave Step as a consultant in the Fall of 2022. She utilized current knowledge and literature on trauma-focused therapies and sexual violence to revise the Adult Survivor Care program’s evaluation plan, including identifying important outcomes that demonstrate program impact, and identifying validated measures to assess for changes in outcomes among survivors over time.
