Brave Step Receives Funding from Reemprise Fund for Evaluation Design

Thanks to a generous grant from Reemprise Fund, Brave Step is taking a critical step in its development. Reemprise Fund is established at Foundation For The Carolinas and supports game-changing initiatives for visionary nonprofits employing a venture philanthropy model.

Brave Step has partnered with System Wide Solutions from Columbia, South Carolina, to enhance its service model, fine tune our desired outcomes, develop a methodology for a formative and summative evaluation and much more.

As Brave Step supports the one in four women and one in six men impacted by sexual abuse, it’s important to have an adult-focused, standardized system of measurement. It’s also necessary to have multiple assessment points to monitor effectiveness in real time and to demonstrate to future clients, donors and others that we are successfully serving those in need.
