A Meaningful Moment to Serve
Brave Step is entering an important chapter, one focused on sustainability, clarity and deepening our impact for adult survivors of sexual violence and the loved ones who support them. As we strengthen our programs and build a resilient future, we are seeking mission‑aligned leaders to join our Board of Directors.
Who we are looking for:
We welcome individuals who bring:
- A deep commitment to survivor and loved‑one support as well as prevention education.
- A trauma‑informed mindset
- A willingness to engage in fundraising and community ambassadorship
- Strategic thinking and collaborative leadership
- Connections in corporate, civic, philanthropic or community spaces
- Prior board experience is desired but not required.
Role:
Board members provide strategic oversight, serve as ambassadors, actively support fundraising efforts, and help ensure Brave Step’s long‑term health. This is a collaborative, relational board that values transparency, shared leadership and thoughtful stewardship.
