The Broken Beauty Project

This creative experience is a beautiful blend of theater, visual art and thoughtful discussion developed by writer Peggy Barnell and artist Melody Hogan.

A stage play is the centerpiece of the program, exploring one dysfunctional family’s journey into the care and cancer for one of their own while mannequins on display represent some well-known sources of brokenness.

Many have come to recognize the importance of story – while art is a bridge that invites us to cross over, speaks on a deeper level of soul-connection. The Broken Beauty Project’s blend of story and art will encourage participants to examine their own brokenness in a healthy, healing atmosphere.
