Biography

Katie Hodges has been a leader at the forefront of innovation and transformation in banking over the past 15 years by strategically aligning analytics, new capabilities and product management, and balance sheet optimization to deliver the future of banking. Serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Strategy, Tech, Analytics and Profitability for Truist within the Commercial Community Bank, Hodges is a core member of the leadership team and responsible for developing and leading strategy for privately held commercial and middle market businesses.

Since joining Truist, she has led many innovative initiatives, including the buildout of the bank’s Business Lifecycle Advisory approach for commercial clients and transformation to new digital tools such as automation, AI-driven analytics, and end-to-end digital capabilities. Hodges has a unique blend of client-centric and strategic experience from serving in various roles during her career with Truist and its predecessor. Most recently, Hodges delivered strategic advice and solutions to privately held companies as a Middle Market Banker. She has also held various transformation roles within Truist Wealth and provided capital raising and advisory services to public and private issuers in Syndicated and Leveraged Finance at Truist Securities.

With an unwavering passion for the growth of others, Hodges leads Truist’s Generations @ Truist Business Resource Group, a network dedicated to empowering others through sharing perspectives across the five different generations in the workforce. She also enjoys volunteering with local non-profits, universities, Junior Achievement, and with local senior citizens communities.

Hodges received a BS in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. In her spare time, Hodges enjoys hot yoga, reading, oil painting, and playing sports with her three small children.
