Biography

Malinda Ingram is a Quality & Training Specialist with Mecklenburg County Criminal Justice Services where she provides support for Pretrial Services.

Prior to joining Mecklenburg County Criminal Justice Services, she worked with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office for 17 years.  She is very passionate about being an advocate and voice for those who would not ordinarily have one.  Malinda enjoys volunteering throughout her community with organizations like the Center of Hope Women’s Shelter and serving in various ministries within her church.

Malinda is a Charlotte native and is married with one child.  She often shares her experience of abuse happening during her college years so others fully understand “consent”.  She is honored to be apart of Brave Step.
