๐Ÿ’™ Small Items. Lasting Impact. ๐Ÿ’™ It starts ๐Ÿ’™ Small Items. Lasting Impact. ๐Ÿ’™

It starts with a roll of blue ribbon.

But it doesn't end there.

That ribbon becomes thousands of awareness ribbons shared across our community during Color It Blue. It starts conversations in workplaces, churches, schools, businesses and neighborhoods.

Sometimes a ribbon reminds a survivor they are not alone.

Sometimes it helps someone recognize the signs of trauma.

Sometimes it encourages a conversation that otherwise never would have happened.

A simple supply becomes an invitation to learn, care and act.

This week during SHARE Charlotte's Shop for Good campaign, you can help us create those moments by donating items from our wish list. ๐Ÿ’™ Small Items. Lasting Impact. ๐Ÿ’™

Small item.
Big impact.

๐Ÿ’™ Every Day Support ๐Ÿ’™ Support doesnโ€™t alw ๐Ÿ’™ Every Day Support ๐Ÿ’™

Support doesnโ€™t always look the way we expect.

Sometimes we think support means checking in often, calling to see how someone is doing, or offering solutions. But for someone navigating trauma or a difficult season, those actions may not always feel supportive.

Support starts with curiosity.

Instead of assuming, try asking:
๐Ÿ’™ Would you prefer a call, text, or some space?
๐Ÿ’™ How can I support you today?
๐Ÿ’™ Would it help if I checked in, or would you rather reach out when youโ€™re ready?

For some people, a phone call feels comforting. For others, an unexpected call can feel overwhelming.

For some, frequent messages feel caring. For others, it can create pressure to respond before theyโ€™re ready.

The most supportive thing we can do is listen, respect boundaries and honor what someone tells us they need.

Small moments of awareness can create stronger connections.

Because everyday support starts with seeing the person in front of us, not just what we think they need.

What if something as simple as a blue ribbon, a bracelet or an item from a wish list could help spark a conversation, build community and support survivors?

During @sharecharlotte's Shop for Good Week (July 13โ€“17), weโ€™re inviting our community to support Brave Step by shopping items that help bring our mission to life.

Every item has a purpose.

๐Ÿ’™ The materials used to create Color It Blue ribbons and bracelets help start conversations about sexual violence prevention and remind survivors they are seen and supported.

๐Ÿ”ฅ The items that support Meat Fest help us create a community event that brings people together and raises critical resources for survivor support programs.

These may look like simple supplies but they help us create moments of connection, awareness and action.

This week, consider shopping our wish list and helping turn everyday items into meaningful impact. Link in bio.

Together, we can show that community support comes in many forms.
