🔸 This Week’s Brave Thing Believe that men ca 🔸 This Week’s Brave Thing
Believe that men can be survivors, too.

Almost one in three men have experienced sexual violence in their lifetime, yet stigma and silence often keep them from seeking help.

Bravery is breaking that silence. Bravery is listening without judgment.

Let’s hold space for male survivors and remind them help belongs to everyone.

🧡 Behind the Brave What does it really mean to 🧡 Behind the Brave

What does it really mean to advocate?

Advocacy isn't reserved for professionals or politicians. It lives in everyday moments.
To advocate means to speak up, stand beside and take action on behalf of someone whose voice may not be heard.

And it can show up in both micro and macro ways:
🔸 Micro: Listening without judgment. Believing a person. Asking hard questions. Being the safe adult in the room.
🔸 Macro: Changing laws. Demanding accountability. Creating trauma-informed systems. Building communities where children and adults can recover and thrive.

At Brave Step, we walk alongside supporters and survivors as they reclaim safety, dignity and justice ... one brave step at a time.
