This is a judgment-free space designed to foster recovery, resilience and hope. Whether you’re early in your journey or further along, you belong here. 💙 Voices of Change: Nicole For many survivors, 💙 Voices of Change: Nicole For many survivors, one of the hardest parts of recovery is feeling like you have to explain yourself — your reactions, your boundaries, your story — even to people who care about you. In this short video, Nicole shares what it’s been like to find sisterhood and safety in Brave Step’s peer groups, a space where there’s a shared understanding, a “common language,” and no pressure to explain in order to be believed. “It’s a safe place,” she says. “A place that lets you know you’re not alone.” In the room with other women, she found the words she wished others had known how to offer — compassion, validation and care. Nicole’s voice reminds us that growth doesn’t have to happen in isolation.
