The Epstein files are now public with new files po The Epstein files are now public with new files potentially being released soon. We recognize that this news may be triggering, upsetting or retraumatizing for many survivors.

For Survivors:
The details may feel overwhelming, especially the stark power dynamics and abuse revealed. It’s okay to step back, take breaks from media and lean on your personal coping strategies. Ground yourself in what feels safe — whether that’s connecting with a trusted friend, journaling, practicing mindfulness or engaging in other forms of self-care. Your emotions are valid, and your wellbeing is the priority.

For Loved Ones and Allies:
Now more than ever, survivors need informed, compassionate and reliable support. Be present, listen without judgment, and avoid speculation or minimizing language. Check in regularly, offer space when needed and remind survivors that their experience and wellbeing matter above all else.

You don’t have to face this alone. Brave Step is here for survivors, loved ones and allies as we navigate this together. Being informed, available and compassionate is a powerful way to show care.
