Today, we're excited to introduce Shannon Crawford Walker, who has joined Brave Step as our new part-time Fundraising and Campaign Leader. With more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience and over $8 million raised to advance mission-driven work, Shannon brings a deep commitment to helping organizations grow their impact through meaningful relationships and sustainable philanthropy. But what excites us most isn't her impressive credentials; it's her belief in the power of community and the role each of us can play in creating change. As we look toward upcoming initiatives like Meat Fest, Color It Blue and expanding support for survivors and loved ones, Shannon's leadership will help strengthen the resources needed to ensure Brave Step's programs remain accessible to those who need them most.
