Leadership is not always loud. Sometimes leadersh Leadership is not always loud.

Sometimes leadership looks like listening carefully, staying present, creating safe spaces and helping others feel heard.

For survivors of trauma and sexual violence, compassionate listening can reduce isolation, build trust and remind someone they are not alone.

You do not need perfect words to support someone well. Presence matters more than perfection.

Listening is leadership because people grow in spaces where they feel safe, respected and believed.

Knowing what to say matters. Knowing what to do ma Knowing what to say matters. Knowing what to do matters more. 💛

Join us for Deepening Allyship on Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. for an interactive workshop where you'll practice real skills to support survivors of sexual violence. Learn bystander intervention, co-regulation and how to show up when it counts.

Because allyship isn't just awareness. It's action.

💙 Voices of Change 💙 Recovery does not happ 💙 Voices of Change 💙

Recovery does not happen in isolation. Sometimes, it begins when survivors find a space where they are seen, understood and no longer carrying their story alone.

One participant recently shared this reflection about Brave Step’s group therapy experience.

We are continually reminded that the journey to wellbeing is strengthened through community, courage and the willingness to show up authentically for one another. To every survivor doing the hard work: we see you and your voice matters. 💙
