Changemaker Spotlight: Jeanne Owens With a heart Changemaker Spotlight: Jeanne Owens With a heart for healing, Jeanne Owens has dedicated her career to supporting survivors. A Chicago native, she earned her Master’s in Social Work from UNC in 2003 and spent 11 years at United Family Services (now Safe Alliance), counseling survivors, supervising clinicians and leading trauma-focused education. Since launching her private practice in 2007, she has expanded her work to include couples counseling and advocacy for the LGBTIQ community. Trained by renowned trauma experts, Jeanne brings nearly 20 years of experience to her work. We are honored to have Jeanne serve as our Advisory Board Secretary, bringing her wisdom and commitment to Brave Step’s mission. 💙 Join us in celebrating Jeanne’s incredible impact! #ChangemakerSpotlight #BraveStep #HealingAndHope #SupportSurvivors
