Instead, ask one more question. 💙 "Tell me more about that." 💙 "How did that make you feel?" 💙 "What happened next?" 💙 "What do you need from me right now?" Sometimes, the most meaningful conversations begin because someone took a little extra time to listen. You don't have to have the perfect response. Your curiosity, presence and willingness to listen can make someone feel seen, valued, and safe.
