๐Ÿ’™ One Brave Thing ๐Ÿ’™ What if one brave thing ๐Ÿ’™ One Brave Thing ๐Ÿ’™

What if one brave thing this weekend was choosing one small act of support?

You don't have to change the world today. But you can change someone's day.

Maybe it looks like:
-Checking in on a friend and really listening.
-Respecting someone's boundary without asking them to explain.
-Learning one new way to support a survivor.
-Offering encouragement to someone who's having a hard day.
-Creating space for someone to simply be heard.

These moments may seem small.

But kindness builds trust.
Listening builds connection.
Support builds stronger communities.

One brave thing doesn't have to be extraordinary. It simply has to be intentional.

Because every day gives us another opportunity to show compassion, choose empathy and make a difference.

What's one small act of support you'll choose today?

Sometimes, creating change begins with simply saying, "How can I help?"

When Dr. Tchedre learned about Brave Step's mission, she saw an opportunity to extend her commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed mental health care beyond the walls of her practice. She chose to give something incredibly valuable - her time, expertise and heart.

As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, educator and founder of Holistic Health Psychiatry, Dr. Tchedre has dedicated her career to expanding access to evidence-based mental health care. Whether she's caring for patients, mentoring future psychiatric providers or volunteering her expertise to underserved communities in Togo, her work reflects a deep belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard and supported.

Today, we're honored to welcome Dr. Tchedre as a member of Brave Step's Advisory Board.

Her decision to serve reminds us that meaningful change isn't reserved for extraordinary moments. It happens when compassionate people choose to share their knowledge, lend their voice and invest their time in a mission that matters.

Thank you, Dr. Tchedre, for bringing your wisdom, leadership and passion to the Brave Step community. ๐Ÿ’™
