One Brave Thing: Interrupt Harm — Gently, When Y One Brave Thing: Interrupt Harm — Gently, When You Can.

Sexist comments can seem small in the moment.
But they help create a culture where disrespect and harm are normalized.

Here are 3 brave ways to respond when you hear a sexist comment:
• Name it: “That doesn’t sit right with me.”
• Ask a question: “What do you mean by that?”
• Shift the moment: “Let’s keep this respectful.”

You don’t have to call someone out perfectly.
You don’t have to turn it into a debate.
Sometimes, the bravest thing is simply not letting it slide.

Small moments of interruption help build safer spaces and safer spaces help prevent harm.

One brave thing this weekend: notice, pause and choose a response that aligns with your values.

💙 Thank You for Helping Us Color It Blue! 💙 💙 Thank You for Helping Us Color It Blue! 💙

Our incredible volunteers came together for Color It Blue, and we are so grateful for the caring hands and generous hearts that showed up to support survivors and raise awareness.

Together, we spent time making blue ribbons that will help spark conversations, inspire prevention, and show our community’s commitment to standing with survivors of sexual violence.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who gave their time today. Your dedication makes this work possible.

And special thanks to @Ameliesfrenchbakery for hosting us and providing such a welcoming space to gather.

💙 We can’t wait to see these ribbons throughout the community during Color It Blue this April!

Our longtime therapist partner, Althia McLaughlin, LCMHC, shares a powerful reminder:
Naming hard truths doesn’t have to be harsh. When we lead with compassion, truth becomes a bridge, not a barrier.

✨ One Brave Thing for today: Name one hard truth you’ve been avoiding and offer yourself grace as you do.

Small brave steps add up.
