It profoundly impacts minds, families and futures. Survivors are significantly more likely to experience depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use and suicidal thoughts. These mental health disparities are not coincidences. They are consequences. Yet too often, survivors face stigma and barriers to care instead of the support they deserve. At Brave Step, we meet this crisis head-on with trauma-informed mental health services, education and advocacy. Because wellbeing isn’t just possible — it’s urgent.
