If you've done meaningful work in your own recovery and feel called to support fellow survivors, Brave Step's Peer Leader Training may be your next brave step. This virtual, skills-focused training is designed to help emerging peer leaders: 💙 Strengthen facilitation skills 💙 Deepen trauma-informed practices 💙 Build confidence in leading supportive peer spaces 💙 Create safe, empowering environments for others Peer leadership isn't about having all the answers. It's about showing up with compassion, authenticity and a willingness to walk alongside others on their journey. Leadership is not always loud. Sometimes leadersh Leadership is not always loud. Sometimes leadership looks like listening carefully, staying present, creating safe spaces and helping others feel heard. For survivors of trauma and sexual violence, compassionate listening can reduce isolation, build trust and remind someone they are not alone. You do not need perfect words to support someone well. Presence matters more than perfection.
